Sicelo Jamson Kunene (Pr. Tech. Eng.)
Mr. Sicelo Jamson Kunene holds a Bachelor’s degree in Technology in Electrical Engineering (Heavy Current) obtained from Durban University of Technology formerly known as Technikon Natal. He is a registered Professional Technologist with ECSA (Engineering Council of South Africa), a Senior Member of SAIEE (South African Institute of Electrical Engineers) and also has CompEx certification for personnel who work on equipment for use in explosive atmospheres.
Mr. Kunene has over 14 years of experience in the electrical, control and instrumentation field having worked in the different industries such as petrochemical; pulp and paper; beer and beverages; and water and waste water treatment. He has gained extensive experience in the various fields of engineering which includes but not limits to; middle leadership, mentoring, QA/QC (quality control/quality assurance), commissioning of electrical/automation equipment, RCM (Reliability Centred Maintenance), development of specification and standards, supplier management, engineering designs, and explosive atmospheres (hazardous locations).
Mr. Kunene has managed a maintenance budget of ZAR 42 million. He has also been involved in single discipline to multi discipline projects in various capacities such as lead engineer, commissioning engineer and project manager.
Mnqobi Ntuthuko Mfeka (Pr. Eng.)
Mr. Mnqobi Ntuthuko Mfeka holds a BSC Eng. (Electrical Engineering: Heavy Current) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Management from University of the Witwatersrand and the Wits Business School respectively. Mnqobi is a registered Professional Engineer with ECSA (Engineering Council of South Africa) and also a member of SAIEE (South African Institute of Electrical Engineers).
In his career Mnqobi has gained extensive experience in various fields of engineering which included but not limited to; mentoring engineers in training; project scoping development of technical procurement and engineering specifications; network analysis studies for planning purposes; protection setting calculation; engineering design; electrical equipment testing; tender bids analysis; contractor management; risk management and project quality management.
Mnqobi has executed projects at lead engineer capacity, with small single discipline to large multi discipline projects, with capital cost ranging from ZAR 9 million to ZAR 750 million.
